Before I told you
about Whale bone in this place. I wanna explain about Lamoahi. Lamoahi is one
village of Nort Kulisusu Subdistrict. This place was the last place Mobile team
of Operation Wallacea survey 2016. Before we had surveyed Lakansai Forest for 3
weeks and then in Lamoahi for 4 days.
After we arrived in Lamoahi, we
discussion with people here and explained our aim to come here. What will doing in this village?
Today we have information that there
was a whale bone in Watorambu Village. The while had dead last year. I did’dnt
have more information about that. But according the people here that the while
had dead and Maybe 7 km from basecamp. So, I and the other students wanna see
it. It’s something interesting for us. In afternoon we went there by car.
The bones not complete again. Maybe
have took some people here or have followed by sea. I and the other students
just found some part bones of while. And then we took in one place. If we want
to analysis again maybe we can bring it to laboratory. And then measured, how
old was the while? Or answer the other question. But we just took some pictures
of it.
