After I joined
Operation Wallacea Project, I had much experiences. One of them was how to
prepared camp for research? I had more experience about camping in the jungle,
climbing the mountains etc. I often accompanied some people to climbing the
mountains but it just 5-12 people so it is not difficult to managed them and
also just two days. But it’s different. In this project, there were many people
want to camping in the jungle and during 3 weeks. So the camp must look well.
If we want made a camp, the place must have
criteria like this:

Must near with a river
2.
Must a flat area
And
then if want to made a good camp, we must prepared tents and tools like above:

2 tents for volunteers/students (one
men and one women),
2.
2 tents for scientist (one men and
one women),
3.
Tent for guides
4.
kitchen + storage of food
5.
Restaurant/Eating room,
6.
Bags tent + Security
7.
Fire Drying + Discussion area
8.
Clinic tent
9.
Toilet + Changes Room + Paper tissue
10. Washing
Plate
11. Washing
hand
12. Sign
in / out
13. Schedule
board
14. Hammock
15. Radio
16. GPS
That
were some tools must prepared for research camp. If the camp like this, the
scientists or students can enjoyed to study in the jungle
